Richard "I joined BD to accelerate my career through diversity. At BD, there is a wide array of functions and businesses across many regions, and the company's collaborative culture and matrix structure ensures you interact with a variety of them on a daily basis. This can only help to broaden your horizons through exposure to new perspectives and new ideas."

During my internship, I was given the opportunity to work on three exciting business-critical projects. I was also very impressed with the emphasis placed on my personal development, as well as the passion and knowledge of the people with whom I worked. After such a great experience, joining BD full-time was a very easy decision.

My current role involves identifying and understanding the drug delivery needs of pharmaceutical companies and patients, and then helping to translate those needs into the high quality, innovative drug delivery devices that our customers expect from a great company like BD. I enjoy the intellectual challenges I face each day in my role. I also like working with a wide variety of people and groups, whether they be external, such as patients and pharmaceutical companies, or internal, such as engineers and sales representatives.

In my spare time, I enjoy playing golf, spending time with friends and watching English Premier League soccer games.
